Michael Yaneff
MICHAEL YANEFF is a graduate of York University's Theatre Department as well
as York's Faculty of Education. Favourite roles include Conrad in Bye Bye Birdie
(SMT - 2002), Tony in West Side Story (Vanier College Productions, York
University - 2004), and Motel the Tailor in Fiddler on the Roof (Scarborough
Choral Society - 2006). He has been involved in many community theatre
productions in the GTA, both onstage and off, but is most comfortable in his
primary role as a teacher. Michael spent the 2006/2007 school year in England
teaching Performing Arts, Drama, and Theatre Studies on the Isle of Wight.
Whilst in the UK, he directed a production of Henry V for the Shakespeare
Schools Festival and for a St. George's Day Festival in a community park. He is
thrilled to be making his CLOC debut in Here's Love, after which he will be
taking a much needed break to plan his upcoming wedding!
