Garth Johnston
GARTH JOHNSTON is pleased to be making his CLOC debut in Show Boat.
With a background in classical theatre from both Dalhousie and Simon
Fraser Universities, Garth has been singing all his life. He has danced
professionally in The Nutcracker with the Ballet National in Montreal, in
modern works with Louis Guillemette, and African dance and song with Ya
Ya Dialo. He had a supporting role in the Quebec musical Scheherazade
starring Anne Letourneau and appeared in various television spots on Music
Plus and CBC-Radio Canada. Garth wrote original singles for Cyber Music
and Pierre Jr. in Montreal and is currently pursuing a career as a singer
songwriter in Toronto while attending chef school at George Brown College.
He sings with Toronto's Rainbow Voices Choir where he has also been
resident choreographer for five years and has penned two original musicals.
