Eva Beames
EVA BEAMES has had a 65 year performing career, seen in operas, operettas
and concerts in Canada through the U.S., the U.K., the Ukraine and all over
Europe. Locally, Eva has appeared at Massey Hall, Ontario Place Forum,
Hamilton Place, Centennial Place (Winnipeg), the Shaw Festival, the
Peterborough Festival and in Evita at the Limelight Dinner Theatre. Having
played a wide range of "earth mother roles" in various Rodgers & Hammerstein
musicals, including Bloody Mary in South Pacific and Cousin Nettie in Carousel
with other local companies as well as The Mother Abbess in The Sound of
Music and Grandma Taylor in Allegro with the CLOC. She still performs
everything from pop to classical to Broadway and is a winner of countless
music awards including a THEA which proudly sits on her piano. Eva is thrilled
to be back with the CLOC once again!
