Clinton Somerton
CLINTON SOMERTON is a Toronto-based performer and member of Theatre
Ontario. His musical theatre credits include such leading roles as Tevye the
Dairyman in Fiddler on the Roof, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, Bill Snibson
in Me and My Girl, and Nick Galeazzo in Norm Foster’s The Last Resort. Other
favourite credits include Doolittle in Pygmalion, Brennan in The Plough and the
Stars, and Herod in The Play of Mary Magdalene, as well as appearances in
Shakespeare’s Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, Coriolanus, and Titus Andronicus.
Clinton has worked with numerous theatrical groups including Amicus
Productions, Canopy Theatre Company, Hart House Theatre, St. Clement's
Drama Group and Toronto Irish Players. He made his CLOC debut in My Fair
Lady and is delighted to be returning in the company’s production of A Funny
Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
